DEMOCRATIC SENATOR AMY KLOBUCHAR.
I listened to her on ‘Firing Line’ last night. Her clarity and focus are refreshing. She concentrated on the need to establish and restore competition to our “huge” corporations.
She did not mention it, but I’m sure that she’s aware of the connection between competition and investments in productivity improvements.
I’ve long felt that, as a measure of our economic health, ‘productivity’ is sorely neglected. Our ‘standard of living’ directly correlates.
