Forepaugh Circus.
When Adam Forepaugh, the veteran circus manager cast his net over the Old World to secure the most famous attractions for the entertainment of the American public, he did so with remarkable success. Among those who make their opening bow this season, are Senora Aguzzie, the reigning equestrian queen of the Imperial Circus at Madrid; Lizzie Deacon, England's equestrian empress, from Hengler's Circus Royal, London, whose two, three and four-horse feats are phenomenal; Sig. Leonati, the amazing bycicle spiral ascensionist; the famous Silbon troupe of acrobats and gymnasts, of Paris, Berlin and Vienna; the three Herbert brothers, gymnasts; Samuel Watson, the famous European bareback rider; Lloyds, father and sons, in their comical musical melange, and a variety of marvelous horseback feats, all new to the United States. Besides these there are a host of other stars of the first magnitude. The show is great in every sense, and will exhibit in Cortland on Tuesday, August 14.
