MEXICAN MIGRANT WORKER
VOTES IN U. S. ELECTIONS.
ROSARIO, Ca., Nov. 27, 2017.— A Mexican
migrant worker in California’s Napa Valley blew the whistle on Democratic voter
fraud yesterday, saying that he and his co-workers have voted in two or three
national elections with the connivance of the county Democratic Party. “We show
our driver’s license and we vote,” said Jose Jimenez, who has a personal grudge against the chairperson of the local county Democratic committee.
Mr. Jimenez was questioned by reporters from
Diablo y Los Santos, a small local
newspaper in circulation in the farm community of Rosario, California. Mr.
Jimenez has a temporary H-2A guest worker visa, which is renewed regularly. He
is not a citizen of the United States. His employer often petitions for H-2A
renewals, since the temporary worker status expires after ten months.
Victor Lupe, chairman of the City of Rosario
Democratic committee, denies any association with alleged illegal voting and claims the
local newspaper is “doing the work of the devil, not the saints.”
The county committee chairwoman has not responded to
repeated requests for an interview. However the county clerk, a Democrat,
added chili pepper to the controversy by stating that Mr. Jimenez is a registered Republican, and that he probably voted for Trump. The Justice Department and California Attorney General Becerra may open an investigation if prompted by the White House or Governor Brown's office.—Cuentos de Hadas de Sacramento.
